The Himachal Pradesh government has announced an additional allocation of Rs 3.50 crore for constructing a crucial bridge over the Giri river, a move aimed at bolstering road connectivity between Chabyoga and Salamu in the Pachaad Assembly constituency of Sirmour district.
A Sunday statement from a spokesperson for the Public Works Department (PWD) confirmed the funding, which follows directives from Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.
Upon completion, this new infrastructure is expected to significantly enhance connectivity and provide substantial relief to thousands of residents, particularly benefiting Gram Panchayats such as Karganoo, Rajgarh, and Tikker, among others.
