The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has launched the SWAGAM portal to facilitate the regularisation of properties in 1,521 unauthorised colonies. Property owners can directly apply online via mcdonline.nic.in/swagam. A support desk is available at the 12 zonal offices to assist applicants.
To aid applicants, the MCD has empanelled over 700 professionals for application filing on the portal, ensuring a seamless experience. After submission, successful applicants will be awarded an online regularisation certificate under the PM Uday Scheme, complete with SMS alerts and online tracking.
The MCD has stated that no physical verification will be conducted, streamlining the process by auto-fetching applicant data from the PM UDAY portal. Post-certification, properties can be registered through the National Generic Document Registration System (NGDRS) in collaboration with the revenue department.
