Devastating Floods Wreak Havoc in Turkey's Samsun Province

Torrential rains have unleashed severe flooding in the Samsun province near Turkey's Black Sea coast, causing significant disruption to homes and businesses and displacing vehicles. According to reports from the state-run Anadolu Agency, at least 12 individuals suffered minor injuries when the heavy downpours started late on Tuesday.

The intense rainfall caused rivers in the Havza district to overflow their banks, sending torrents through the streets with enough force to carry away cars and other debris. Video footage displayed dramatic scenes, including a driver standing on a truck's roof while awaiting rescue.

Despite the chaos, authorities confirmed that none of the injured were in serious condition. Many of the affected reached medical facilities independently, while others received assistance from medical teams. Firefighters, police, and disaster response units are working diligently to rescue those stranded and clear the accumulating debris.
