Adani Airport Holdings has inked a partnership with IHG Hotels & Resorts to establish five new hotels in major airport-linked urban areas such as Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, and Ahmedabad. This deal marks the first entry of IHG's luxury Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants brand into the Indian market and will add around 1,500 rooms across several locations, aligning with IHG's aggressive expansion strategy for India.

The new developments, including sites in Jaipur, Mangaluru, and Thiruvananthapuram, aim to strengthen hospitality infrastructure around significant aviation and urban growth corridors. This initiative is part of Adani's vision to integrate travel, stay, and leisure into comprehensive urban experiences around India's burgeoning aviation sector.

Pranav Adani, Director of Adani Enterprises Limited, highlighted the partnership's strategic importance, indicating it will enhance hospitality offerings aligned with India's long-term economic and travel growth. IHG, which currently operates 52 hotels across India with plans to add 98 more, aims to meet the increasing demand from business, leisure, and transit travelers with this partnership.
