A cab erupted in flames near Bhajanpura metro station in northeast Delhi on Monday morning, officials from the Delhi Fire Service reported. Fortunately, no casualties occurred during the incident, which took place by gate number 2 of the metro station.
The DFS received an emergency call at 7:30 am, prompting them to dispatch a fire tender to the scene. Thanks to the swift response, firefighters managed to control the flames by 8:25 am, according to a DFS official.
The cause of the fire is still undetermined. Both police and fire department officials have conducted preliminary inspections, and a detailed investigation is currently underway.
