Rajasthan Experiences Cool Relief from Intense Heat Due to Strong Winds
Rajasthan saw a slight drop in maximum temperatures as powerful winds and dust storms swept through the state. This change was driven by a western disturbance, with more thunderstorms and rain predicted, impacting many regions, particularly between May 30 and 31.

Several regions in Rajasthan recorded cooler temperatures on Friday following the onset of strong winds and a dust storm. This shift is attributed to a western disturbance, according to the Meteorological Centre.
The highest temperature, 45.6 degrees Celsius, was noted in Jaisalmer, which was a reduction from the previous day's 47.1 degrees. Similar patterns were observed across places like Phalodi, Bikaner, Barmer, and Ganganagar.
In Jaipur and other areas, sudden dust storms contributed to changing weather conditions. Officials predict a fresh western disturbance could prompt thunderstorms and rainfall, with significant effects anticipated between May 30 and 31, affecting regions like Jodhpur, Jaipur, and Bikaner.
Heavy showers, potential lightning, and high wind speeds of up to 70 kmph are expected in isolated locations throughout these areas, providing much-needed relief from the intense summer heat.
