The National Basketball Association (NBA) has announced an innovative fan engagement event in India. The first-ever BUDX NBA House is slated for June 7 and June 8 at Mumbai's DOME, SVP Stadium, coinciding with the 2025 NBA Finals. This groundbreaking occasion merges basketball, music, and culture in a unique celebration.
Highlighting the event will be basketball-themed activities, exciting live musical performances, and meet-and-greet sessions with basketball legends including five-time NBA champion Derek Fisher and Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer Gary Payton. Fans will have a chance to take photos with the esteemed Larry O'Brien Trophy and enjoy performances by the Sacramento Kings mascot Slamson, the Kings Dancers, and the Kings' dunk team.
Rajah Chaudhry, NBA Asia Head of Strategy and NBA India Country Head, emphasized the significance of the event, calling it a 'must-visit destination' for India's passionate NBA fans. Previous iterations in Brazil, Canada, France, Mexico, the U.S., and the UK have set a benchmark for this immersive experience aimed at unifying fans under the banner of basketball.
