Young cricketers, including Musheer Khan, Ayush Mhatre, and Suryansh Shedge, commanded attention in the T20 Mumbai League auction. Khan, a part of the Punjab Kings' IPL squad, was topped the charts, fetching Rs 15 lakh from Arcs Andheri.
Ayush Mhatre, who debuted in the Ranji Trophy and IPL this year, was snapped up by Triumph Knights Mumbai NorthEast for Rs 14.75 lakh. They also secured Suryansh Shedge for Rs 13.75 lakh, while SoBo Mumbai Falcons acquired Angkrish Raghuvanshi for Rs 14 lakh.
MCA President Ajinkya Naik highlighted that performances drive these lucrative contracts, with players like Mhatre and Raghuvanshi earning rewards through consistent displays in age group competitions and the IPL.
