Indian javelin thrower and double Olympic medallist, Neeraj Chopra, will participate in the Ostrava Golden Spike 2025 athletics meeting on June 24 in the Czech Republic city, following withdrawals from previous editions due to injuries.

Chopra was set to compete in the 2023 and 2024 events but was forced to withdraw after sustaining injuries. Despite being unable to compete, he attended last year's event as a special guest in Ostrava, known for its annual prestige in athletics.

The tournament will give Chopra the opportunity to perform under his legendary coach Jan Zelezny, who has a storied past with the Golden Spike. This year's competitive roster will feature top talents, including the 2020 Olympics silver medallist Jakub Vadlejch.
