Stuart MacGill Escapes Jail Time in Cocaine Supply Case
Former Australian cricketer Stuart MacGill was sentenced to 22 months of intensive community service after being found guilty of cocaine supply. Although cleared of commercial involvement, he admitted to introducing his partner's brother to his drug dealer. MacGill had previously faced abduction threats related to the case.

Stuart MacGill, the former Australian cricketer, recently avoided a jail sentence following his conviction in a cocaine supply case. On Friday, MacGill was given a 22-month intensive corrections order, along with 495 hours of community service.
Despite denying the charges, MacGill admitted to using cocaine and introducing his partner's brother to a drug dealer. Prosecutors claimed the duo had later negotiated a A$330,000 cocaine deal. This introduction allegedly led to MacGill's temporary abduction and threats at gunpoint in April 2021.
Though cleared of charges related to commercial cocaine supply, MacGill's sentence allows him to serve his custodial punishment within the community. Known for his cricket career, MacGill's involvement has drawn significant attention, especially concerning his ties during the Shane Warne era.
