Sanjay Sharma, a member of the HPCA, informed ANI that the situation was managed smoothly thanks to extensive preparations by the local police and the franchises involved. Shortly after the stoppage, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the suspension of the IPL 2025 season.
