Indian Squash Hopes Dashed at World Championships
India's journey at the World Squash Championships came to an end as all four players, including Anahat Singh and Ramit Tandon, lost their second-round matches. Despite Anahat's initial win against ranked Marina Stefanoni, she lost to Fayrouz Aboelkheir.

India's campaign at the prestigious World Squash Championships concluded prematurely, with all four players exiting in the second round of their respective singles matches.
The only Indian in the women's singles, 17-year-old Anahat Singh, succumbed 1-3 to Egypt's Fayrouz Aboelkheir. Despite tying the scores at the end of the second game, Singh lost the match 7-11, 11-8, 4-11, 3-11. Previously, Singh had triumphed over world No. 28 Marina Stefanoni from the U.S. in the opening round.
In men's singles, Abhay Singh, Veer Chotrani, and Ramit Tandon also faced defeats. Abhay Singh lost 0-3 against world No. 13 Youssef Ibrahim of Egypt; Veer Chotrani fell 1-3 to top seed Ali Farag; and Ramit Tandon was narrowly defeated 2-3 by England's Marwan Elshorbagy.
