Charlie Woods, the 16-year-old son of golfing legend Tiger Woods, is set to compete in the U.S. Junior Amateur once again. This marks his second consecutive qualification for the prestigious tournament.
After bogeying his final hole at Eagle Trace Golf Club, Woods found himself in a three-way playoff, which he subsequently won by shooting a round of 71. This victory secured him a spot in the upcoming event.
The U.S. Junior Amateur, famously won three times by his father, will run from July 21 to 26 at Trinity Forest in Dallas. Charlie Woods, a junior at Benjamin School who recently captured his first AJGA title, will be among the 264 players vying for one of the top 64 spots to advance to match play.
