As Team India readies itself for the second Test match against England, left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh has been joined by his Punjab Kings teammates, spinner Harpreet Brar, and Chandigarh pacer Jagjit Singh Sandhu. With the Test commencing on July 2, Arshdeep is keenly eyeing a potential Test debut following an indifferent performance by most Indian pacers, barring Jasprit Bumrah, at Leeds.

In a video by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Harpreet Brar expressed his excitement over being near Birmingham and his decision to join the practice after a text from skipper Shubman Gill. Expressing pride in Arshdeep's progression, Brar has been instrumental this year, taking 10 wickets for the Punjab Kings in the IPL and leading them to a runner-up spot.

The addition of Sandhu brings further depth, recalling his history with team players such as Rishabh Pant and Shubman Gill, highlighting the camaraderie and shared experiences within the team. Sandhu's impressive stats include 82 wickets across 24 first-class games. As India's Test squad prepares to face England, this blend of new talent and experience aims to lead India to victory.
