Marc Marquez demonstrated his unmatched skills in a thrilling display at the Dutch Grand Prix, securing a win that extended his championship lead by 68 points. While Assen marked the centenary of motorcycle racing, Marquez asserted dominance, cementing his quest for a seventh title.
Aprilia's Marco Bezzecchi and Ducati's Francesco Bagnaia joined Marquez on the podium, as the latter grappled with a sizeable 126-point challenge against his teammate. Despite early setbacks, Bagnaia fought through to claim third, overtaking KTM's Pedro Acosta.
Marquez's victory, his 68th in the premier class, brings him alongside Giacomo Agostini and within striking distance of Valentino Rossi's record of 89 wins. Meanwhile, Alex Marquez's race ended prematurely due to a crash, adding to the drama of a high-octane contest.
