In a hasty celebration announcement via social media, RCB called on fans to gather for a victory parade, leading to a crowd of nearly three to five lakh around the stadium. The lack of proper police approval compounded the situation, making crowd control impossible.
The Tribunal criticized the sudden nature of the announcement, pointing out that the police were left without sufficient time to prepare for such a large gathering. The absence of comments from the RCB management poses further questions regarding accountability.
