The high-intensity rivalry between cricketing giants India and Pakistan is set to resume this September as the BCCI has confirmed it will host the Asia Cup T20 in the UAE, sources from the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) disclosed on Thursday.
During an ACC meeting attended by 25 member nations, key representatives, including BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla, discussed and decided on the tournament's venue and logistics. Both nations have agreed to participate at neutral locations for major events until 2027.
The tournament, which runs just over a fortnight in September, is strategically scheduled to conclude before India's Test series against the West Indies. Expect fierce competition as the tournament unfolds, with India and Pakistan likely to face off at least twice.
