Currently operating 132 stores across 55 cities in India, Decathlon plans to extend its reach to over 90 cities by 2030. With a target revenue of Rs 8,000 crore, India Chief Executive Officer Sankar Chatterjee emphasizes maintaining double-digit growth annually to capture a significant share of the sports market.
The company also focuses on a circular business model, offering repair services and selling refurbished products to make sports goods more affordable. Decathlon is enhancing its online and offline strategies to broaden its market reach, even venturing into smaller cities with promising sports enthusiasm.
