Bengaluru FC Suspends Salaries Amid ISL Uncertainty
Bengaluru FC has suspended salaries for its first-team players and staff as uncertainty looms over the Indian Super League's future. The decision follows stalled contract talks between the AIFF and FSDL. Eight ISL clubs plan to discuss the league's status. Youth teams remain unaffected.

Bengaluru FC, a team in the Indian Super League (ISL), has halted salary payments for its first-team players and staff due to uncertainty surrounding the league's future.
In a recent announcement, the 2018-19 ISL champions cited the impasse in contract renewal discussions between the All India Football Federation (AIFF) and the Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL), led by Reliance.
The stalemate follows a directive from India's Supreme Court preventing the AIFF from renewing its agreement with FSDL until the resolution of a separate legal issue. Bengaluru FC has urged a prompt resolution, emphasizing the welfare of its players and staff.
