Golden Triumph: Naruka's Landmark Victory at Asian Championships

Indian shooter Anant Jeet Singh Naruka secured his first individual gold medal in the Asian Championships, edging out Kuwait's Mansour Al Rashidi in the men's skeet final.

Naruka triumphed 57-56 over Al Rashidi, while Qatar's Al-Ishaq Ali Ahmed claimed bronze. This marked Naruka's fifth medal in the tournament, having previously scored team gold and mixed team gold.

Meanwhile, Indian duo Saurabh Chaudhary and Suruchi Inder Singh clinched a bronze in the 10m air pistol mixed team event, adding to their nation's diverse medal tally.
