Legendary Football Manager Matt Beard Passes at 47

Football has lost one of its most influential figures as former Liverpool and Chelsea manager, Matt Beard, passed away at the age of 47. Both clubs announced his passing late on Saturday, paying tribute to the manager who guided Liverpool to consecutive Women's Super League titles in 2013 and 2014.

Between managing several renowned teams, including West Ham United and Bristol City, Beard's career was marked by his return to Liverpool in 2021, where he once again made a significant impact by bringing the team back to the top-flight after a couple of tougher seasons.
