Puneeth M from Roundglass Tennis Academy has emerged victorious at the ITF Asia 14 & Under Development Championships Finals held in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The young talent showcased remarkable skills, securing the singles championship in Week 1 and finishing as the doubles runner-up in Week 2.
Puneeth's outstanding performances have paved his way to the prestigious 14 & Under Wimbledon tournament. Furthermore, he has been selected for the highly sought-after ITF Asian 14 & Under Touring Team, which will compete across several European countries later this year. Notably, Puneeth outperformed top players, including Hong Kong's Him Wong, claiming the singles title in a remarkable display of talent.
The Roundglass Tennis Academy in Chandigarh stands as a beacon for nurturing Indian tennis talent. Home to prominent players like Junior Davis Cup team member Ribhav Saroha, the academy also trains India's singles No. 1 Sumit Nagal and doubles No. 1 Yuki Bhambri, along with other notable figures in the sport.
