In a recent road rage incident in Mumbai, the police have arrested former cricketer Yusuf Pathan's father-in-law and two other men, including a relative.
Authorities revealed that the arrests were made following an altercation that erupted after water was splashed on Shoaib Khan by a passing car on Saturday night. The incident unfolded near Hirabai Compound in Mazgaon. A heated exchange ensued, escalating into a physical confrontation.
The situation worsened when Shoaib Khan retaliated by hitting the car with a wooden stick, prompting more relatives, including Khalid Khan, the cricketer's father-in-law, to join the fracas. The victim sustained multiple injuries and required hospitalization.
Upon receiving the alert, law enforcement agents swiftly apprehended Khalid Khan and two others. The police have lodged an FIR at Byculla police station under the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita. CCTV footage is being reviewed, and witness statements have been recorded as the investigation proceeds.
