Abhinand. Trailing 0-2, Bhattacharya deftly turned the tables, winning four consecutive games to seize a memorable 4-2 victory.
This decisive triumph granted Bhattacharya his long-awaited national crown, a testament to his resilience and composure under pressure. The semifinals were equally intense, with Priyanuj narrowly edging M.R. Balamurugan in a gripping seven-game encounter.
Despite commanding early performances, Tamil Nadu's Abhinand and Balamurugan couldn't sustain their momentum. Yet, they secured gold in the doubles category by convincingly defeating compatriots S.K. Mehan and Umesh Kumar with a 3-1 victory.
