The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) celebrated its 75th anniversary in a landmark event attended by Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, along with senior dignitaries and accomplished athletes. This significant occasion underscored NRAI's future ambitions, including the Shooting League of India (SLI), setting a visionary roadmap for Indian shooting.
A central feature of the celebration was the unveiling of a special 75-year commemorative logo, representing decades of excellence, discipline, and achievement. The event also saw NRAI announce a massive grassroots initiative to nurture 750,000 new school and college students into shooting by the 2028 Olympics, through a hands-on '10-shot experience'.
Furthermore, the NRAI launched the NRAI Athlete App, marking a digital transformation as India's first fully digitized sports federation.
