The state collaborated with the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) to conduct mock drills covering floods, forest fires, and industrial accidents. These exercises aim to improve emergency preparedness and inter-departmental coordination significantly.
The focus remains on optimizing rapid response and international rescue practices, addressing the growing concerns of forest fires and urban fire incidents. The first hour in disaster scenarios, termed the 'Golden Hour,' is crucial, and these drills aim to sharpen responses to such critical situations.
