Two tennis players, ranked outside the top 500, have been provisionally suspended after testing positive for clostebol, according to the International Tennis Integrity Agency's announcement on Tuesday.

Karlis Ozolins of Latvia, ranked No. 546, and Daniil Kakhniuk of the United States, ranked No. 1,123, were found with traces of the banned anabolic steroid clostebol in their samples. Both athletes provided these samples during an ITF World Tennis Tour event held in San Jose, Costa Rica, in February.

The athletes, who have been suspended since April 14, have yet to exercise their right to appeal. The ITIA asserts that it offers support for players involved in anti-doping cases, including pro-bono legal aid and financial assistance for investigative purposes.
