Sanjana secured a bronze medal in the women's 77kg category at the Asian Weightlifting Championships, contributing to India's medal tally. Her total lift of 220kg placed her third in a highly competitive field. This achievement marks another highlight in India's performance at the event.

China's Guifang Liao dominated the category, securing the gold with a total lift of 265kg, while North Korea's Kyong Ryong Kim claimed silver with 260kg. Sanjana's performance follows the success of fellow Indian weightlifters Komal Kohar, Gyaneshwari Yadav, and Ajith Narayana, who all won bronze in their respective categories.

In the women's 86kg event, Vanshita Verma finished just outside the medals in fourth place with a total lift of 220kg. China's Cuiting Peng emerged victorious with 270kg, followed by Bahrain's Alina Marushchak and South Korea's Hyeonju Jang, who won silver and bronze, respectively.
