Indian shooters Manu Bhaker and Samrat Rana brought home a silver medal in the 10m air pistol mixed team event at the ISSF World Cup. The duo narrowly lost to China's champions Yao Qianxun and Hu Kai by just 0.3 points in a captivating finale.

This achievement propelled India to second place in the overall medal tally, with the nation collecting two gold and two silver medals, trailing only China who amassed four gold and three bronze medals. The Indian duo initially stumbled but regained momentum, ultimately being edged out in the final series.

The challenging competition saw Manu and Samrat initially struggle but eventually leap to second, thanks to improved shooting. Despite taking a lead at one point, inconsistencies allowed the Chinese pair to reclaim the lead, resulting in an intense finish.

In other events, the Indian rifle shooters could not advance to the medal round, with Elavenil Valarivan and Arjun Babuta ending the 10m air rifle mixed team event at 14th place. China's Wang Zifei and Sheng Lihao captured gold, while Norway and another Chinese team took silver and bronze respectively.
