Felix Auger-Aliassime made history at the French Open by defeating Chile's Alejandro Tabilo 6-3, 7-5, 6-1, becoming the first Canadian man to reach the quarter-finals at all four Grand Slam events.

The Canadian world number six, Auger-Aliassime, dominated the opening set. Although Tabilo raised his game in the second, a key service break in the 11th game gave Auger-Aliassime a crucial advantage.

The two-set lead allowed the 25-year-old to dominate the third set, winning the match efficiently. Auger-Aliassime, undeterred by previous lengthy matches, will now face Flavio Cobolli in the next round.
