Bharti Airtel has reported a substantial reduction in cybercrime on its networks following the implementation of its anti-fraud initiatives. According to data from the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) under the Ministry of Home Affairs, the company witnessed a 68.7 percent fall in financial losses related to cybercrime and a 14.3 percent decrease in overall incidents.

The comparison spans from September 2024 to June 2025, highlighting the impact of Airtel's Fraud and Spam Detection Solution. The telecom giant, led by Sunil Bharti Mittal, has credited these declines to its AI-powered network solutions, which have filtered out 48.3 billion spam calls and blocked 320,000 fraudulent links.

Gopal Vittal, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Airtel, has pledged ongoing investment and innovation to eradicate digital fraud from its networks. "This is just the beginning of our fight against cyber threats," Vittal asserted, confirming Airtel's dedication to a spam-free digital environment.
