HFCL Secures Five-Year Contract for Defence Data Centre Maintenance
HFCL has secured a Rs 135-crore annual maintenance contract from RailTel Corporation to support data centres developed for the Indian defence under the Secure Operations Network project. The contract spans five years and involves extensive maintenance and support services.
HFCL, a technology company based in India, has been awarded an annual maintenance contract valued at Rs 135 crore by RailTel Corporation. This contract is part of the Secure Operations Network project managed by the Indian defence forces, intended to enhance the security and functioning of data centres.
The five-year contract involves supporting a central data centre and 120 mini data centres across various defence establishments. HFCL's responsibilities include preventative and corrective maintenance, network monitoring, incident handling, performance optimisation, and 24/7 technical support, following its successful implementation of the network system.
