A tragic accident on the Lucknow-Shahjahanpur National Highway left two people dead and eight injured when a speeding SUV overturned. The incident occurred on Wednesday evening, according to police reports.

Authorities revealed that the vehicle's tyre apparently burst, causing it to skid for nearly 200 meters before overturning. The vehicle's occupants were heading back to Jamasara village after attending a pre-wedding function in the Baghaulee area.

Among the deceased were Shyam Prakash, 35, and Yogesh, 6, both from Jamasara in Kasimpur. Police used a JCB to clear the overturned SUV and temporarily diverted the traffic flow to manage the situation.
