Air India, in a notable gesture, has announced complimentary rescheduling and full refunds for armed forces personnel holding existing bookings with them. This announcement follows the recent military triumph where India's armed forces dismantled terrorist infrastructures in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir through a precise missile and drone assault, lasting just 25 minutes.
The considerate policy extends to defense fare ticket holders on Air India and Air India Express flights until May 31, 2025. Personnel can avail of full refunds upon cancellation and a one-time waiver for rescheduling flights up to June 30, 2025. This initiative is designed to accommodate their crucial duty commitments during this tense period.
The announcement was made via a post on X, echoed by both airlines, symbolizing support for those on the frontlines. It's a step towards bolstering morale and flexibility for the armed forces, ensuring they fulfill their mission without additional concerns over travel constraints.
