DPIIT and Hafele India Forge Pact to Empower Indian Manufacturing and Startups
DPIIT and Hafele India Pvt. Ltd have signed an MoU to bolster India's manufacturing and innovation landscape. The collaboration aims at nurturing local supply chains, offering support to startups and MSMEs through access to infrastructure and market opportunities, and aligning with India's global manufacturing ambitions.

The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has entered a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hafele India Pvt. Ltd, a move projected to fortify India's manufacturing and innovation framework, the Ministry of Commerce & Industry disclosed in a statement.
The alliance showcases a mutual dedication to developing resilient local supply chains and propelling forward India's goal to become a prominent global manufacturing hub. Hafele India has pledged to support startups and MSMEs by providing essential infrastructure access, supplier development, and technical partnerships while facilitating market integration.
In this landmark collaboration, Hafele has already invested over USD 2.5 million in an Indian appliance startup and issued order commitments to Indian MSMEs producing architectural hardware and furniture fittings. DPIIT is set to enhance connectivity within the startup ecosystem through Startup India initiatives, aiming to foster growth and innovation at the grassroots level.
