Airlines Ground Flights to Tel Aviv Amid New Missile Threats
Several international airlines have halted flights to Tel Aviv following a missile attack near Israel's main airport by Yemen's Houthi rebels. Airlines had only recently resumed flights after a ceasefire with Hamas. Key carriers affected include Delta, British Airways, and Lufthansa Group, among others.

In a fresh wave of disruptions, numerous global airlines have suspended their flights to Tel Aviv, following a missile attack by Yemen's Houthi rebels near Israel's main international airport on Sunday.
The move comes after many airlines had just started resuming services after a ceasefire with Hamas in January. The resumption followed a significant pause caused by an extended period of hostilities starting from October 7, 2023. However, in light of the latest threat, airlines like Delta, British Airways, and others are once again pulling back.
Notable carriers that have halted services include AEGEAN Airlines, Lufthansa Group, and United Airlines, each imposing different timelines for suspensions, reflecting the uncertainties and heightened risks in the region.
