Century Plyboards Unveils Largest Particle Board Plant in India

Century Plyboards (India) Ltd announced the commissioning of India's largest particle board manufacturing plant near Chennai. This Rs 600 crore investment underscores the company's commitment to the wood panel industry.

The facility, spanning 30 acres, is strategically located 30 km from Century Ply's Gummidipoondi plant. It boasts a daily production capacity of 800 cubic metres, aimed at bolstering the company's market influence.

Beyond production promises, the plant anticipates generating over 1,000 jobs and incorporates sustainable practices like eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient processes. Positioned near vital ports, it enhances logistical efficiency domestically and for exports.
