Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday accused the prior Samajwadi Party administration of neglecting the importance of Uttar Pradesh's expansive Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector.

He condemned the previous government for failing to recognize the vital role of extensive MSME clusters, present in every district and town, in boosting the state's growth.

Criticizing their approach, Adityanath questioned how a party focused solely on familial gains and societal division could plan for the state's youth, whose future hinges on such schemes.

Speaking at the CM YUVA Conclave, he alleged a conspiracy by the previous regime to cripple the state's MSME industry.

He claimed that rampant hooliganism, corruption, and dishonesty under their rule forced citizens to flee, causing large enterprises to shutter and leaving artisans in search of alternate livelihoods.

Adityanath outlined his government's proactive measures, stating, 'We formed a committee and launched the One District One Product (ODOP) scheme in 2017, turning it into a national brand.'

Beneficiaries of the CM YUVA scheme, which offers small business loans to young entrepreneurs, were in attendance.
