An Air India flight from Singapore to Chennai was grounded on Sunday following a technical issue, the airline announced in a statement.
Flight AI349, which was scheduled to be operated by an Airbus A321, faced a maintenance task that required attention before departure, resulting in its cancellation.
Air India assured affected passengers that they would be flown to their destination at the earliest, offering hotel accommodations and the option of a full refund or complimentary rescheduling according to their preference. Ground staff in Singapore are working to minimize disruption, amidst reports of technical snags affecting some of Air India's fleet in recent days.
