Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL), the FMCG division of Reliance Industries Ltd, has secured exclusive rights as the beverage partner for Hyderabad Metro, as announced in a Thursday press release. RCPL will now sell its beverages via vending machines, kiosks, and retail outlets across the city's rapid transit network.

The release highlights RCPL's successful acquisition and relaunch of the iconic Campa Cola brand in India. Since 2022, the company has not only revived this heritage brand but also expanded its beverage offerings, including Independence Packaged Water, Campa Energy drinks, and Raskik beverages.

Ketan Mody, Executive Director of Reliance Consumer Products Limited, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, emphasizing the goal to provide high-quality, affordable beverages to metro commuters. L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited's MD & CEO, KVB Reddy, underscored the collaboration's role in enhancing urban commuting experiences with reliable products in metro spaces.

The Hyderabad Metro, spanning 69.2 km across 57 stations, is one of India's longest metro systems. It is currently witnessing a rapid growth phase, with average daily ridership reaching 4.6 lakh passengers as of May 2025. The system set its highest daily ridership record at 5.63 lakh passengers in 2024.
