In a strategic move to broaden its international outreach, IndiGo will launch flights connecting Mumbai to Copenhagen, Denmark, from October 8, 2025. The airline will operate thrice weekly flights using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, leased from Norse Atlantic Airways.
This venture marks an ambitious expansion into Northern Europe, with Copenhagen becoming IndiGo's 44th international and 138th overall destination. Travelers on this route can avail themselves of Economy class or the exclusive IndiGoStretch business product, which includes complimentary hot meals, beverages, and an extensive inflight entertainment library featuring nearly 300 hours of content.
Pieter Elbers, CEO of IndiGo, emphasized the importance of this new connection, highlighting the growing travel demand between India and Northern Europe. The introduction of this route will serve as a vital link, promoting commerce, education, and tourism between the two regions. Passengers opting for IndiGoStretch will benefit from enhanced amenities, including extra legroom and priority check-in.
