Apollo Tyres Slashes Prices Following GST Reduction

Apollo Tyres has declared a significant price reduction in response to the recent GST rate cut. Effective from September 22, the price adjustments range from Rs 300 to Rs 2,000, benefitting customers purchasing passenger vehicle to truck/bus radial tyres.

The GST Council's decision to reduce tax on pneumatic tyres from 28% to 18% is being passed on in full by Apollo Tyres. Other tyre categories, like tractor tyres, now have a reduced tax rate of 5%.

Apollo Tyres Vice President Rajesh Dahiya emphasized that the new pricing, across all segments, will lower vehicle ownership costs, supporting fleet operators, farmers, and daily motorists. Collaboration with the distribution network ensures the new prices are effectively implemented nationwide.
