The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is set to enlist a private company to create top-quality documentary-style videos aimed at promoting its housing schemes and the PM-UDAY policy, as announced by officials.

Launched by the central government in 2019, the Prime Minister – Unauthorised Colonies in Delhi Awas Adhikar Yojana (PM-UDAY) seeks to grant ownership rights to residents of Delhi's unauthorized colonies. As of August, the agency had received approximately 1.3 lakh applications under this initiative.

Officials stated that the goal is to highlight the benefits, application procedures, and unique attributes of DDA schemes in a way that appeals to prospective home buyers and target audiences. Accordingly, they have issued a tender calling for proposals.

A specialized agency, listed with the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC), will be entrusted with the execution of the project. The campaign will utilize high-definition content, replete with actors, influencers, drone footage, interviews, voiceovers, captions, and visual effects, to augment public engagement and facilitate an understanding of DDA's housing initiatives.

As per the tender, the videos may incorporate elements like animation, video shoots, or walk-through videos to craft impactful storytelling. The objective is to reach audiences via various digital and traditional media channels, enhancing awareness about the DDA's housing inventory, the PM-UDAY scheme, and forthcoming plans.

This endeavor demands an agency with advanced creative ingenuity and practiced filmmaking skills, ensuring the provision of captivating and high-caliber content. The DDA aims to better inform potential beneficiaries and encourage participation in available housing opportunities in the national capital through this campaign.
