Dubai-based real estate giant Emaar Properties has announced plans not to sell its stakes in its Indian entity, instead looking to form a joint venture with major business houses in India, including the Adani Group.

The decision was revealed in a recent filing at Dubai Financial Market, acknowledging the company's pivot towards collaborations rather than sales of existing assets in India.

The company, which entered the Indian market in 2005 through a partnership with MGF Development, is known for major global developments including the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall.
