Iran resumed commercial flights from Tehran's international airport on Saturday, marking the first such activity since the conflict with the US and Israel began roughly two months ago.
Iran's state-run television reported successful departures from Imam Khomeini International Airport to destinations including Istanbul, the capital of Oman, Muscat, and Saudi Arabia's Medina.
At least three flights bound for Istanbul were tracked by Flightradar24, a flight monitoring service. The resumption comes as part of a partial reopening of Iran's airspace, initiated earlier this month amid a ceasefire with the US.
