Afcons Infrastructure Ltd has emerged as the top bidder for a significant railway project in Croatia, Europe. This marks a strategic entry into Europe for the Indian infrastructure giant, renowned for projects like the Chenab Bridge and the Atal Tunnel.
The project involves reconstructing existing tracks and building a second track, along with electrification, signaling, and communication works. Valued at €677.07 million, it stands as Afcons' largest international order to date.
Krishnamurthy Subramanian, executive chairman, expressed pride in contributing to modernizing Croatia's railway network, reinforcing Afcons' global footprint and commitment to infrastructure development.
