Major Drug Bust Uncovers Mephedrone Peddling Network in Mumbai

A sting operation by the Mira Bhayander-Vasai Virar (MBVV) police has dismantled a substantial mephedrone trafficking ring in Mumbai.
The operation, which began in early April with a raid in the Nayanagar area, led to the seizure of drugs valued at Rs 2.66 crore.
This probe has culminated in the capture of 13 individuals, including two women, and the confiscation of chemicals and equipment valued at Rs 13.65 crore, marking a significant breakthrough in the fight against illegal narcotics.
