During a session titled, 'The Future of Sustainability: Building a Resilient and Responsible Economy', at the Confederation of Indian Industry's Annual Business Summit, Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav proclaimed India as a transformative force in global change. He emphasized the country's role not only as a participant but as a key shaper of significant global shifts.
Yadav highlighted India's commitment to cooperation and partnership over conflict and domination, underscoring the geopolitical and economic shifts requiring stronger international collaboration. His vision sees India's rise deeply interlinked with global progress, driven by democratic values, inclusion, and sustainability.
Addressing future economic dynamics, he stressed that growth would rely not only on GDP or technology but also on trustworthy ethical and social foundations. Yadav articulated a vision for 'India at 100', aiming for a developed and inclusive nation. He identified economic transformation, human capital, sustainable growth, social empowerment, and India's global role as critical pillars for development.
