Amazon Bazaar's Phenomenal Growth Surge in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana
Amazon Bazaar experienced a fourfold increase in orders from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana year-over-year, with Hyderabad showing a significant surge in new customer sign-ups. The platform, launched in 2024, has significantly boosted local businesses and expanded its operations network to enhance last-mile delivery services.
Amazon Bazaar is witnessing a tremendous rise in popularity in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, recording a remarkable four-time growth in orders compared to the previous year, with Hyderabad at the forefront of this expansion.
Within just four months of 2026, the platform reached six times growth in Hyderabad, officials revealed. Women's fashion, home goods and kitchen items, and electronic accessories are leading the demand, according to Sameer Lalwani, Amazon Bazaar's Head in India.
Launching in 2024, Amazon Bazaar now supports over 75,000 sellers from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and has recorded a 2.4 times increase in sellers annually. The e-commerce giant is investing in strengthening its logistics with fulfillment centers, sortation hubs, and delivery partners to serve smaller towns in the region.
