Empowering Startups: The Impact of the DICV-IIMCIP Bootcamp
IIM Calcutta Innovation Park, in collaboration with Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, successfully conducted the second bootcamp for their Social Impact Incubation Programme, 'Viksit Bharat'. Targeting startups, the event featured expert sessions to enhance business and leadership skills, aiming to foster a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in India.
IIM Calcutta Innovation Park and Daimler India Commercial Vehicles recently wrapped up their second bootcamp under the DICV-IIMCIP Social Impact Incubation Programme, known as 'Viksit Bharat'. Aimed at boosting the capabilities of startups, the three-day event included expert-led sessions on finance, leadership, negotiation, and branding.
The sessions were facilitated by esteemed faculty members and mentors from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. Prof Manju Jaiswal, Prof Abhishek Goel, and Prof Chandradeep Mitra were among the key contributors, offering their insights to help startups develop into scalable and sustainable businesses.
V K Rai, CEO of IIM Calcutta Innovation Park, emphasized the program's role in equipping emerging founders with the necessary tools and mentorship. Torsten Schmidt, Managing Director and CEO of Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, highlighted the initiative's contribution to strengthening India's startup ecosystem, aligning with the vision of 'Viksit Bharat'.
